Sarah Stevens
Having always been an avid reader and lover of stories, Sarah knew that one day she would work with books. After interning at Crabtree Publishing in St. Catharines, ON and organizing two years of Guelph Reads! in Guelph, ON, both of which affirmed her ideal career path, Sarah began taking publishing courses at Ryerson University.
With four book seasons under her belt at MDG, and the knowledge and experience needed to manage multi-city book tours, Sarah now specializes in publicity and promotions for food books, and has completed successful campaigns for Anna Olson, Ken Kostick and Eric Akis, while expanding her own cooking and baking expertise.
Yet the love of all books has stayed with her, and working on other genres of books such as children’s literature like Ollie’s Field Journal, travel books such as Reinventure and memoirs like I Am Hutterite have brought her much joy. Her most recent highlight was organizing the media for a Guinness World Record attempt in Trenton, ON where one man successfully pulled a plane weighing over 400,000 lbs for 29 feet, using only his strength and a rope.
