Quinoa 365
The Everyday Superfood

By Patricia Green and Carolyn Hemming

Sisters Patricia Green and Carolyn Hemming were brought up on strictly homemade baking, bringing stinky dried seaweed and brown seedy bread in their school lunches while other kids ate perfectly symmetrical sandwiches made with white bread. Although they may have felt envious then, their mother’s healthy influence taught them that nothing could be better than the natural goodness of whole food.

Now they have written Quinoa 365: The Everyday Superfood. Patricia’s insistence on creating great-tasting meals with the most nutritional impact combined with Carolyn’s critical eating habits have resulted in a book that showcases recipes for special occasions, weekday dinners, breakfast and lunch, and even baby food! With intriguing history and nutritional characteristics of quinoa, you will soon learn why this superfood is identified as one of the world’s healthiest foods.

With gorgeous food photography and time-saving icons that let you quickly identify if a recipe is glutenfree, kid-approved or vegetarian, you’ll want to try recipes like these from Quinoa 365 today:

• Chocolate Quinoa Crepes with Bananas
• Bocconcini and Oregano Salad
• Beef Vegetable Quinoa Soup
• Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf
• Salmon and Red Quinoa on Asparagus with Lime Cilantro Sauce
